This First Aid/CPR class follows the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines and is good for non-healthcare provider personnel (i.e., safety personnel, caregivers, school staff), wishing to learn basic first aid as well as adult and child CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use.
Classes will be held on the second Saturday each month starting at 8 a.m., and will run for 5-6 hours, depending on the number of students.
Classes may be held off-site for large groups that are in Fire District 9. Please call to inquire.
Classes are free of charge to residents and businesses of Fire District 9. For those outside Fire District 9, there is a nominal fee of $25. Exact change or check only, please.
A certification card, valid for 2 years, will be issued upon completion of the class. All participants are required to perform a CPR skills test.
