Fire Investigation Task Force

Purpose The goal of the Fire Investigation Task Force (FITF) is to ensure that the necessary number of fire investigators examine and document the origin and cause of every fire to which SCFD-9 responds (in accordance with RCW 48.48.060).

Protocol

FITF responds when called by normal dispatch procedure or when requested by the Incident Commander.

Training Location and Time

FITF trains monthly on the Monday following the third Wednesday at the SCFD-9 Administration Building from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
